25 Day Harry Potter Challenge

Day six - Favourite movie film? (because I am English and movies are films. Also the Harry Potter films are British. Thank you.)

This is quite a difficult one actually. I love the earlier films because of the beautiful magic and the innocence, but the acting of some of the children leaves a bit to be desired… I really enjoyed the portrayal of both Order of the Pheonix and Half Blood Prince although both left quite a bit of my favourite book parts out (e.g. Harry and Ginny was very subpar in the film). Therefore… it looks like I’m going to go with the Deathly Hallows! (Both, as really, they are one film). They were just the perfect ending to the series and shown so beautifully on the big screen.

I seem to be getting uncontrollably angry lately because my flatmate appears incapable of turning the dishwasher on when it’s full, (it will be loaded occasionally but never turned on so it smells). I am also the only one who ever takes the rubbish out.

This seems to be a strange relationship? (We are not a married couple). Thank goodness I’m moving to my own place in July. Although I will probably then shout at myself for not tidying up but that’s a different issue.

25 Day Harry Potter Challenge

Day Five: What’s your wand made of? What’s the core?

This is great because Pottermore actually tells you this! I need to log on again though because I don’t think I’ve read the information since September…

Willow, phoenix feather, 10 3/4 inches, quite flexible.

Pheonix feather wands are apparently the rarest and their allegiance is hard to win but they are capable of the greatest range of magic. (I feel special!)

The willow shows that I have some insecurities but a lot of potential. The length is pretty average and the fact that the wand is quite flexible shows that I can adapt well.

I think this wand suits me well!
